It is a funny world we live in when you are approached by a film production company asking if you would like to place your product, at no expense to yourself, into a film that ends in the death of Amy Winehouse. Do we want to be remembered as one of the liquors that put Amy into her premature grave? The expense to place the product may be free but the lasting impression and damage to your branding could be detrimental.
Some say ANY ATTENTION is GOOD ATTENTION but I think that is a darn dirty lie. Hence, passing up this ‘opportunity’ in which $100-400k increase in revenue is estimated from the producers ‘b.s.ers’. If anyone find out which brands end up being used please let me know. Would be interested to find out!
